This is my Story

I've been teaching SAT^®/ACT^® test prep for over 25 years. After graduating from college with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Psychology, I started my career as a high school guidance counselor and math teacher. Along the way I taught everything from pre-algebra to AP AB/BC calculus as well as grammar and writing courses while simultaneously helping students prepare for the transition from high school to college. I was twice-awarded the Star Teacher Award and found I had a passion for teaching complex material in a simple way. After working in the classroom for 7 years, I decided to take my teaching gifts and open my own tutoring business. Thus was the start of Luce Tutoring.

Since then, I have focused simplifying techniques for effectively teaching the SAT^®/ACT^®. I wanted to help students excel in their test taking abilities and maximize their scores by using the most organized and logical teaching structure I could create. Thus, I created my 6-Lessons for teaching the SAT, and now I want to teach others how to tutor the SAT like me.
