In case we haven't met, I'm Daisy Luce
I've been tutoring for over 20 years. I started out as a high school guidance counselor and math teacher, with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Psychology, and I taught everything from pre-algebra to AP Calculus. I was twice awarded the Star Teacher Award, and somewhere in there I found what I really love: taking complicated material and making it simple.
Eventually I left the classroom to open my own tutoring business, and Luce Tutoring was born. I built it into a premium, fully online practice on my own terms. I set my own hours, work with students I love, and earn a real living doing it. Over the years I developed my own systems for teaching test prep and for running the business behind it, and those are the same approaches I share with tutors now.
